# CALCULATOR

The calculator used ida is made up of so-called ICs. These ICs are in turn composed of integrated circuits. This means that there are many circuits and are isolated so that it can not short circuit when the two circuits touch. ICs does not take that much power but that which takes the most power is when the numbers are displayed. The new calculators goes on solar cells instead of the current. Formerly used batteries to power calculators and even further back in time used skid.

When you hit the numbers on the keyboard transmitted the numbers to the so-called binary digits. These consist only of 1 and 0. Each number is printed on each of which a four-digit number consisting only of 1 and 0.

Ex.

852 becomes 1000, 0101, 0010th

Below is a table showing 1-9 in the binary system.

0 = 0000

1 = 0001

2 = 0010

3 = 0011

4 = 0100

5 = 0101

6 = 0110

7 = 0111

8 = 1000

9 = 1001

Turns one example 1 + 1 on the calculator written this talk about the 0001 + 0001. When you then press = it says 2 of the display.

0001 + 0001 is thus equal to the 0010th

The conventional system is based on the 10th

Turns you record 567, printed it on to:

(5x10x10) + (6 × 10) + (7 × 1)

It is then written as 500 + 60 + 7

The number is displayed and when you press the button operation (addition, subtraction, multikplikation or division) moved century from number registered to beräkninsenheten.
When the second number is wrapped out it also to the unit and count operation is performed.
Since the number appears on the display.

When the calculator to figure out a number, use it only by addition.

If you then should count a subtraction so it becomes like this:

18-3 = 15

This means that

15 + 3 = 18

The calculator then looking up the numbers when added together with 3 becomes 18; 5.

Multikplikarioner performed by repeated additions

4 x 8 = 8 + 8 + 8 +8 = 32

Division is performed by repeated subtractions

5/25 = 25-5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5

Then check how many times 25 has been subtracted by 5 for it to be the 0th

Today there are also calculators on cell phones and computers.

Mini counters on cell phones work just like the original, but the computers they work a little differently.
They are programmed through various programs.
